Security and protection of your personal data 
We consider it our primary task to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data you provide and to protect it from unauthorized access. We therefore apply the utmost care and the most modern security standards to ensure maximum protection of your personal data. 

We comply with the legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), the Ordinance on the Federal Data Protection Act (VDSG), the Telecommunications Act (FMG) and other data protection provisions, such as the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union. 

We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are observed by both us and our external service providers. 

Legality of processing 
The processing of personal data is only lawful if there is a legal basis for the processing. The legal basis for the processing can be in particular:

Information about the collection of personal data 

(1) In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data includes, for example, name, address, email addresses, user behavior. 
(2) If you contact us by email or via a contact form, the data you provide (your email address, if applicable your name and your telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data collected in this context after storage is no longer required, or processing is restricted if there are statutory retention periods. 

Collection of personal data when visiting our website 
If you use the website purely for information purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you would like to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security:

Confecta AG uses products and services for analysis and marketing purposes that are developed in cooperation with Visable GmbH (www.visable.com) are made available by it. For this purpose, data is collected, processed and stored using tracking pixel technology to create at least pseudonymized and, where possible and reasonable, completely anonymized user profiles. The data collected, which may initially contain personal data, is transmitted to Visable or collected directly by Visable and used there to create the above-mentioned user profiles. Visitors to this website are not personally identified and no other personal data is merged with the user profiles. If IP addresses are identified as personal, they are deleted immediately. Use of cookies
(1) In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk and associated with the browser you use, and through which certain information is sent to the location that placed the cookies. Right to information, deletion and correction 
You can request information about your personal data stored by us at any time. A formal request for information must be made in writing and with proof of identity. 

We store personal data that you send to us for as long as we consider it useful to contact you in relation to our services or to fulfill our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our contracts. After that, we delete the data securely. You can also have your data deleted or corrected at any time. This can be done by sending a appropriate request by email to confecta@confecta.ch. We would like to point out that if your data is deleted, you will not be able to use our services or will not be able to use them in full. 

You can revoke your consent to certain data processing at any time with future effect. Please note that there are statutory retention periods for certain data. We must store this data until the expiry of the period. We lock these files in our system and use them exclusively to fulfill our legal obligations. 

 

Use of Google Analytics 
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Use of social media plug-ins
(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: [Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Xing, T3N, LinkedIn, Flattr]. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the plug-in providers. You can recognize the plug-in provider by the marking on the box using its initial letter or logo. We give you the opportunity to communicate directly with the plug-in provider using the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data collected when you visit our website is transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the information provided by the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in the USA for US providers). Since the plug-in provider collects data primarily via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the grayed-out box. 

(2) We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider. 

(3) The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. Integration of YouTube 
(1) We integrate the videos of the “YouTube” platform of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. 
(2) We like to use videos on our websites. Videos are a good way to better convey content and make it easier to understand. Since local hosting of videos is not powerful enough, we use the option of external video providers. For our own videos, we primarily use YouTube. We also occasionally embed other videos from external sites. Third-party providers are also used here. By embedding the videos, the servers of providers such as YouTube are called up for technical reasons.
